The voice of Cold Beer Creek is the real deal. Born in Texas and raised in Arkansas, Jimmy brings a Southern feel and real country grit to the Buffalo music scene. After graduating high school in Kansas City, MO, Jimmy answered the call to serve, spending four years in the United States Marine Corps.

Since moving to Western New York, Jimmy has become one of the most decorated frontmen in the region. His powerful, authentic delivery earned him the 2024 WNY Nightlife Award for Best Country Vocalist and two-time winner for Best Country Band.

Whether he’s strapping on his guitar or commanding the stage with his vocals, he bridges the gap between his deep Southern roots and the energy of the 716. His journey from the heart of the South to the Marine Corps and onto the biggest stages in WNY makes him the ultimate leader for Cold Beer Creek.

Craig Dlugosz

Bassist, Vocals

A powerhouse on the low end, Craig is a veteran of the WNY music scene with over two decades of experience. Known for his work with the premier Buffalo party band DoubleShot, Craig brings a wealth of professionalism and stage presence to Cold Beer Creek.

Beyond his performance on stage, Craig is a trained studio engineer and producer. His expertise has attracted numerous national acts, including Eminem.

While his rock-solid bass lines provide the foundation, Craig’s ability to lock in complex vocal harmonies adds a rich, polished layer to the band’s live performance.

Doc Fetterman

Rhythm Guitar, Horns

A Niagara County native through and through, Chuck has been a staple of the WNY music scene for over two decades. For The Doc, music and medicine aren’t just careers; they are his way of serving the community he calls home.

Having sharpened his teeth with premier Buffalo acts like DoubleShot and The Yachtfathers, he brings a veteran’s touch to every stage. Whether he’s laying down a solid rhythm on acoustic guitar or adding the soaring riffs of the alto sax, Chuck’s versatile musicianship is the "secret weapon" that takes the Cold Beer Creek sound to the next level.

Len Morrissey

Lead Guitarist

Originally from Canada, Len Morrissey brings a seasoned, international perspective to the Buffalo music scene. Before settling in Western New York five years ago, Len spent two decades performing throughout the Boston area. While he is a versatile musician across many genres, he has dedicated the last decade to the high-energy world of modern country.

As the lead guitarist for Cold Beer Creek, Len is a master of tone and versatility. A dedicated Telecaster and PRS player, he was a key member of a two-time award-winning band and was recently named the Top Utility Musician in WNY for 2025. This versatility as a multi-instrumentalist allows him to anchor the band’s signature sound with precision. With 30 years of experience spanning from Canada to the East Coast, Len provides the grit and elite musicianship that defines every Cold Beer Creek performance.

Derrick "DJ" Johnson

Drummer

The heartbeat of Cold Beer Creek is a powerhouse drummer with deep roots. An Akron, NY native and proud member of the Sixth Nations, DJ was raised on traditional country. He began his career as a young teen, cutting his teeth in his father's band, Bobby J & Country Gold — a local country legend in his own right.

That lifelong dedication has earned him a WNY Nightlife Award for Best Country Drummer. His playing style seamlessly bridges the gap between old-school country and the heavy-hitting energy of today's Nashville hits. DJ brings a level of professional experience and heritage to the stage that makes the Cold Beer Creek rhythm section second to none.
